Lilac ‘Beauty of Moscow’ . Photo by Smiles

Syringa vulgaris ‘Krasavitsa Moskvy’ was bred in Moscow, Russia, by hybridist Leonid Kolesnikov. The large, gorgeous, white double flowers and pink buds are perfectly formed and sweetly fragrant.  A favorite in my garden.

Many thanks to the hybridists and nurserymen/nurserywomen who bring such loveliness to our gardens.  Many more thanks to our Father God who provided such loveliness in the beginning, and continues to sustain life — as well as the wonderful fragrance!
